This section is where BrokerUnion will publish anonymized, aggregate observations from its Ontario brokerage operations. Nothing is published here until it has been measured, reviewed by our principal broker and documented with its methodology and limitations. No studies have been published yet.
Our publishing standard
Every study published in this section must state the following before it goes live.
- Methodology: what was measured, how, and from which systems
- Sample period: the exact start and end dates covered
- Sample size: the number of policies, quotes or files included
- Limitations: what the data cannot show, and known sources of bias
- Anonymization: confirmation that no client-identifying information is included
- Publication date and last reviewed date
- Named reviewer and their credential
- Citations to any external data used alongside our own
We do not publish estimated, modelled or illustrative figures as if they were measured results, and we do not publish client data.
In the meantime
Our educational guides cite FSRA, RIBO, the Insurance Bureau of Canada and the Government of Ontario rather than our own unpublished data.
